MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.An expert in respective product portfolio – Lab Equipment & Instrument.
2.Actively seek to develop the market in China. Regularly monitor sales performance of brands/products to response to the sales momentum.
3.Gather market intelligence, including industry trends, competitors’ development and product pricing information so as to develop strategies/promotion. Share the information during the bi-weekly sales meeting at the beginning of each quarter.
4.Actively support the quotation team, particularly in ITQ/tenders.
5.Plan, organize and participate in quarterly product promotions and focus activities.
6.Identify and fill gaps with new products/brands/VWR collection.
7.Build effective supplier relationship through good communication and quarterly meeting with them. Lead in new product on boarding to ensure proper product information, training, stock availability, etc, are all in place.
7.Collaborate well with all relevant internal stakeholders to ensure pre-sales and after-sales support is effective, this include technical team (for equipment set ups, technical services, maintenance and calibration packages), QA/Regulatory (for product defect issues, Certificate of Assurance), CS & Logistics (for special delivery requirements, etc).
8.Provide technical and commercial support to internal and external customers.
9.Manage inventory of appointed product lines to minimize slob stocks.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1.Degree in related discipline with at least 7 years of sales and/or marketing experience.
2.Good leadership, strong communication and presentation skills.
3.Work independently, resourceful and self starter, with a commercial attitude.
