Review, identify and implement effective controls, processes and procedures as required for the successful operation of warehouses for the efficient and timely transfers and delivery of stock to customers.
 Establish robust processes to provide a consistent material supply for production while minimising inventory and improving schedule compliance
 Improve customer delivery performance through solid material management and implementing demand segmentation / methodology
 Support the central procurement and material functions in managing suppliers and ERP system
 Maintain accurate and up-to-date data / information within the business systems
 Monitor process effectiveness and drive improvements
 Drive process optimisation between factory and supply planning functionality
 Drive delivery, product lead time, cost reduction and improve inventory performance
 Drive inventory optimisation and customer delivery performance.
 Oversee cycle counting and physical stocktakes.
 Monitor inventory holdings, movements and expiry dates.
 Ensure all inwards freight discrepancies are investigated and followed up with suppliers.
 Liaise with freight companies and monitor/control transport costs. Make suggestions for improvement.
 Liaise with Sales and Marketing to ensure forecasts are updated and improved with off shoreDemand Planners‘.
 Communicate with off shore Supply Planners to improve and trouble shoot supply from our off shore planning and ordering teams.
 Co-ordinate the local ordering of parts and equipment.
 Maintain a process and control the distribution of demonstration equipment and track and trace demonstration inventory.
 Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics.
 Monitor overall performance to make sure targets are being met.
 ****uate and **** information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage, or invetory.
 Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the ERP system.
 Effective back order management.
 Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers.
 Recruit, train, manage and motivate a team of supply chain staff.
 This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all aplicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and compnay documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).
